This advanced course has a strong emphasis on live therapy demonstrations. We carefully explore a wide range of comprehensive regression strategies, both detached and potentially cathartic, clearing underlying issues for powerful lasting results. Various modalities are integrated as appropriate, including protective ideomotor methods, the affect bridge, Gestalt, inner child work, hypnoanalysis and subconscious re-education. Our expertise is shared in working with recovered memories and avoiding false memories.

We demonstrate therapy for health issues in greater depth, and teach Hypnotic Dreamwork™, exploratory ideomotor methods, Crossroads Therapy, Transforming Therapy™, and hypnosis for emergencies and first aid. As with the other levels, the subject matter is carefully augmented by supervised practice.

Aspects of developing a practice covered in this level include disclosures, insurance coverage, insurance reimbursement, business licenses, trademarks, and further legal issues.

Developing from the foundation set in Levels 1 and 2, Level 3 graduates receive a Master Hypnotist diploma.

Like Level 3, this course emphasizes powerful live demonstrations, including comprehensive regression strategies. Advanced ideomotor uncovering techniques include Churchill's Imprint Method for transforming subconscious beliefs.

The course includes advanced hypno-healing methods methods, parts therapy, hypnotherapy for grief and for fostering inner strength and, session structuring for success. An EMDR-based section is taught by LMFT/hypnotherapist Sik-Lam Wong, a pioneer on the Flash Technique for advanced desensitization. We develop EFT-based therapy further with Gaye Gibson’s Emotional Balancing Process.

Various practice sessions will further ground and inspire you with your wealth of options as a hypnotherapist. A wide variety of creative business and marketing strategies are explored including opportunities and limits of AI for hypnotherapists.

Level 4 graduates receive a diploma in Advanced Hypnotherapy from our prestigious school. Completion of Levels 1 through 4 also satisfies A.C.H.E. requirements for Hypnotherapist Certification.

The tuition of our comprehensive courses is $1150 per 50 hour level and has only been raised 15% since 2009. The $900 deposit for accelerated programs, or $350 deposit for a weekend level of class, is credited toward class tuition. Since our programs tend to fill well in advance, early registration is strongly recommended.

The tuition balance is due 10 days in advance of class.

Our programs are in the San Francisco North Bay area, ten minutes drive from the Golden Gate Bridge and with good access by bus from the airport and other Bay Area locations. Our accelerated courses can be essentially residential when students take advantage of our steeply discounted rates to stay at the Corte Madera Inn. And other accommodations are discounted for our students that are within walking distance as well. We have information about accommodations and local transportation available.

Some students may find financial assistance through third party payers, including disability insurance, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation or grants, and some employers pay for skill enhancement or required CE.

Class hours include experiential and reading homework for each course given for days between class meetings and at the conclusion of each course. We provide all required texts at discounts, for an average cost of $54 plus tax per level through Level 4 (then no further required texts beyond Level 4). They may be purchased from the Institute in class.

For anyone who has special needs, please contact the HTI office prior to enrolling in class. Every reasonable effort is made to accommodate various disabilities or unique situations that call for adjustment.

Diplomas & Certification

Diplomas as a Master Hypnotist and Hypnotherapist, with the embossed seals of our leading school, are awarded upon completion of the Level 3 and Level 4 courses.

In addition to HTI's certification, upon completion of the Level 4 course, the student qualifies to receive further Certification as a Hypnotherapist by the primary certifying organization in the United States with over 9500 members, the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. A.C.H.E. Certification is discounted for our graduates, at $150 for two years

Further Advanced Courses for our Graduates

Besides our advanced Level 3 and Level 4 courses, we offer 50-hour graduate Level 5 and Level 6 Clinical Master Classes, exclusively for HTI graduates. Any of these courses can be taken as a means of receiving CE credit. See our News for our Graduates page for further information.

Courses for Hypnotherapists

We offer continuing education for hypnotherapists. For most graduates of other hypnotherapy programs, our Level 1 course is the ideal place to start, even if for those with at least 200 classroom hours of previous training and substantial hypnotherapy experience. There is various advanced material in each of our courses. Please email or call us if you have questions.

Each level of class is A.C.H.E. approved for credit to upgrade your certification from "Hypnotherapist" to "Clinical Hypnotherapist." Also, the courses are approved for CEU's for biennial renewal of your A.C.H.E. Certification as well as having CEU approval by the State Board of Registered Nursing and for Marriage and Family Therapists and LCSWs.

We occasionally may offer a special advanced seminar not listed in the brochure, but which would appear on our website if not exclusively for our graduates.
