Greetings to Northern California! Click here if you live elsewhere
Both of our Spring programs are now underway, including our March accelerated intensive which began March 1. Our next class meets on a series of weekend days beginning June 28, and we have an accelerated program starting August 2. See our Class Schedule for specific dates and details.
If you are interested in one of these programs, we recommend you make your reservation far in advance to guarantee your place. Our Summer classes can fill months in advance, and we have had to turn away many prospective students from full courses.
You are welcome to take just a portion of any of our available programs, so we invite you to join a class even if you can just fit the first one or two levels into your schedule. You can use our secure sign-up page, or mail, call, or email your reservation.
See Hypnosis Certification Courses for details about our programs. We meet in Corte Madera, a 10-minute drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge or six minutes from the Richmond Bridge, conveniently one block from Highway 101.
In our 36th year as a leading hypnotherapy school, we have taught thousands of graduates from over 45 countries including many leaders in the field. We are continuing to break new ground with innovative teaching and therapy methods.
HTI has all major approvals, including eligibility for National Certification by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, the original and largest Hypnotherapy Certification agency with over 9500 members.
An aspect of his outstanding leadership in the field, HTI founder and lead instructor Randal Churchill was the first A.C.H.E. President and completed his most recent term in 2012. He is the author of leading books in the field.
Our other primary instructor, Cheryl Canfield, is author of the award-winning book Profound Healing, receiving rave reviews from Wayne Dyer, Caroline Myss, Joseph Chilton Pierce and Gerald Jampolsky.
This is an exciting time for hypnotherapists in California. HTI helped lead the way, proudly supporting Senate Bill 577, which became law several years ago. This landmark legislation eliminates the threat of potential technical violations of old laws regarding medical practices, and gives further validation to hypnotherapy and other complementary healing professions.
Whether you are seeking hypnotherapy training for a career, as an adjunct to a therapeutic specialty, or for personal growth or research, or whether you are a hypnotherapist seeking to deepen your mastery of the field, we hope you can participate in the priceless learning and growth experience at HTI!
Uniquely Effective Teaching
"The best investment in time and money I've ever made!", "...a life changing and profoundly deep spiritual experience!", "...far exceeded my wildest expectations...", "...like a fairy-tale where miracles can be worked easily...". See our website or brochure for detailed graduate comments.
We all know from experience what a tremendous difference a very special teacher can make. Randal Churchill and Cheryl Canfield are dedicated to the highest quality education, continuing to use their vast skills and experience to teach nearly 90% of our highly experiential courses. No one could copy the transfomative live demonstrations and follow-up discussions given by these master teachers. HTI's other instructors have all mastered particular aspects of the field as well as providing wonderful teaching skills.
Obviously, as important as the number of classroom hours is the quality of time spent. We prepare our students for the hypnotherapy field with an extraordinary repertoire of skills. Emphasizing comprehensive solutions to achieve lasting change, we teach working interactively with the whole person, clearing underlying causes of unwanted attitudes, emotions and behavior. For further reasons besides exceptional teacher quality, we believe we teach more in less time than any school in the field.
For example, Randal Churchill has written award-winning teaching texts designed for our courses. Add to that a wealth of written materials provided in each class level.
We have been honing our therapy and teaching skills in many ways, developing and improving with each new semester.
We hope you can join us and experience the magic of the priceless learning and growth experience of HTI!
We invite you (and a family member or friend if you'd like) to come to one of our next free introductory meetings on Thursday, March 20 or Thursday, April 24 at 7:00-8:30 pm. Meanwhile, we encourage you to bookmark our website, which is frequently updated.
|Our classes have been established for 26 years at the lovely Corte Madera Inn, which has a five acre resort-like setting and plenty of free parking.|
This was received from Frank Powell, on his way to becoming a Certified Hypnotherapist:
"I am still buzzing from the first two days of Level Two. I had quite some expectations of what this level would be like and what I would learn, but you two went far past those expectations in just the first hours of class. The balance of both your styles of hypnosis and teaching are so harmonious. I love hypnotherapy!
"After working in the automotive dealer environment for twenty years, I had lost hope that a job with full truth and integrity was still on the planet. Not only is your teaching bathed with truth, integrity, love and compassion, so are the students. Thank you for creating this space on earth for such learning and healing."
Raves from San Rafael
"I highly recommend HTI as an exceptional school for training in
the field of Hypnotherapy. Your commitment and individual attention to each
student was like nothing I've ever seen. My business grew steadily each month after I graduated, and within four months I began making a successful living as a Hypnotherapist.
Thank you for continuing to be very supportive and for really being there
assuring my success.
"I know your training is the best I could have received. Also I
will always treasure the life transforming experience that took place while
studying with you!"
